In my blog below, I wrote about what Fraxel is and how it works on your skin. Today, I am going to write about what Fraxel treats, your skin, and provide you a couple of before and after photos of Fraxel treatments.
For those of you who are not familiar with Fraxel, it is “a safe, non-invasive laser skin treatment that removes years from your appearance—without the risks or side effects of other procedures.”
A few of the things Fraxel treats are: wrinkles, lines around the eyes, age spots/sunspots, acne scars, surgical scars, melasma, irregular texture and lesions. Is there something about your skin that bothers you? If so, Fraxel may be used to not only treat these areas, but to clear them up in entirety. You can look like you never had an problem.
Fact: Men and women in their 40s and 50s+ undergo dramatic changes with their skin. Your skin starts to appear less smooth or glowing and lines form around your eyes, mouth and forehead. In addition, your lips start to get smaller and some of your skin starts to sag. Your skin may start to look thinner and translucent, which can make your blood vessels more visible – causing your skin to look discolored.
In an effort to help keep your skin looking young, vibrant and healthy, use SUNSCREEN whenever you are in the sun (take care to focus on your neck, ears face and back of hands) and at night, make sure you use night cream to help your skin rejuvenate while you sleep. Use products with antioxidants, switch to a gentle cleaner (instead of soap) for your face and make sure you stay hydrated.
If you have already developed some of the symptoms above and want to correct them, Fraxel may be the answer for you. Check out these exciting before and after pictures at the bottom.
The types of Fraxel treatments available are: re:fine treatment – for prevention and maintenance, re:store treatment – for mild to severe skin damage and re:pair treatment – surgery-like results for the most severe skin damage.
Just because you may not have taken care of your skin the way you needed to in your 20s and 30s, does not mean you have to continue to live with the results today.
